The London Maritime Arbitrators Association is an association of practising maritime and trade arbitrators with headquarters in London, UK. Founded in 1960 at a meeting of “Arbitrators on The Baltic Exchange Approved List”, the LMAA traces its roots and traditions over 300 years.
LMAA tasked us with creating a website that delivers a seamless user experience while fostering the organization’s vision and attracting new members. To achieve these goals, we developed a flexible CMS that allows for centralized control, reducing the need for IT support requests.

The result was a website that not only encouraged member engagement, but allowed the LMAA team to manage ongoing changes independently through its easy-to-use content management system. By providing a uniform look and feel across various web mediums, we were able to create an end product that was both aesthetically pleasing and functionally effective. We worked hard to ensure the LMAA website could seamlessly integrate with any future branding or marketing requirements, as well as provide users with a platform that allowed them to quickly access the information they needed in order to participate in the organisation.
The London Maritime Arbitrators Association had an existing brand identity, but it didn’t align with their vision. To address this challenge, we enhanced their brand by updating their style and color scheme to better reflect the LMAA organization’s values. Our approach elevated the brand identity to a new level of excellence.
